Rapid weight loss pills, lose weight quick and easy, miracle weight loss spray..........
If you have watched TV, or visited any internet site in the last couple of months, I’m certain you will have seen these claims. Promises of miracle weight loss results, usually with little or no effort.
Since I started treating people for overweight and obesity 20 years ago, I have seen every weight loss gimmick come and go. Pills, sprays, lotions, potions, teas, heat machines, programs designed by unqualified entrepreneurs – the list is huge.
Weight loss wonders, and one hit wonders that make promises they can’t keep – and aim only to lose the weight in people’s wallets.
The trouble for people who are desperate to lose weight and will try anything is that the devious entrepreneurs take their money and the client is left poorer, bewildered, dispirited and still overweight. Unfortunately the only thing left lighter by these types of weight loss wonders is your wallet!
There are many good weight loss options for you to choose from, and many honest dedicated people to support you. How do you tell the difference?
- History – one hit wonders don’t last long. If a program or product hasn’t been around for very long be aware.
- Qualifications – weight loss is a health concern. Is the company or person qualified to give you health advice or sell you a health product?
- Results – good weight loss programs and products get results. Look for testimonials and believable weight loss success stories.
Don’t fall victim to weight loss wonders. If it appears too good to be true it probably is.
Cheers,
Dr Tim.
